CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (Callaway Climate Insights) — The news isn’t all bad on the climate data disclosure front, though you have to look hard to see the good news.
The bad news on this front was the Trump Administration’s decision last year to roll back the climate disclosure rules the Biden Administration had adopted in 2024. The good news is that individual states — most prominently California — have passed laws that in many ways resurrect the rules that the Trump Administration eliminated.
