This is not Matthew’s Honda CR-V.

With my trusty 2004 Honda HMC 0.00%↑ CR-V being almost 20 years old and approaching 200,000 miles — and emitting a few moans and groans — I have been starting to think about a replacement.

And so, a few weeks ago I strode into a local Toyota TM 0.00%↑ dealer to try out a hybrid car. Why not an EV? you might ask, especially of someone who writes about climate change.
