SAN FRANCISCO (Callaway Climate Insights) — Climate index stocks were hammered in the first week of March amid market volatility tied to rising interest rates.
The CCI Climate Index fell 14.24 points, or 14.3% for the week, to 85.59, its lowest close of the year. Only two stocks in the index rose while 53 fell for the week.
