Occidental Petroleum is expanding its carbon capture, utilization and storage initiatives. The company said last week it will begin detailed engineering and early site construction for its first large-scale direct air capture plant in Ector County, Texas (Artist rendering).

Or Ford’s by 2050?

The answer, according to a study published this month in the Journal of Portfolio Management, is zero.

Nada.
