President Donald Trump’s war on wind energy, which we always believed was just a pet peeve related to his dislike of wind turbines near his Scottish golf courses, has become a much bigger issue in the past few weeks as the White House seeks to halt construction on as many 10 offshore wind projects along the Eastern Seaboard.

Just days after halting construction on a near-completed facility off of Connecticut run by Danish wind giant Orsted, citing national security implications, the White House said it had begun reviewing many other projects along New Jersey, Virginia, New York, Maryland and Massachusetts.
