Guterres comments seem rather empty as respects Europe in the wake of 2022 ("no more excuses. no more Greenwashing").
Not sure how he squares that with EU "leaders" running to Qatar, Canada, the US, Saudi Arabia, several nations in Africa with their hair on fire, scrambling for oil/gas all spring and summer. It certainly wasn't the "bottomless greed of the fossil fuel industry and its enablers" that forced those EU "leaders" to do so.
